Our take
The MCX8000 was my go-to controller for years, and it still holds up well. The 4-deck layout with Serato integration is smooth, and the built-in mixer means fewer cables. I love the jog wheel illumination for low-light gigs and the autoloop function. The 16 pads are sufficient but not overwhelming. On the downside, the maximum sampling rate is 48kHz, which is fine but not class-leading. Also, the unit is fairly large and heavy for transport. If you need a robust 4-channel controller with standalone mixer and software included, this is a reliable option.
