About this product
The Denon MC7000 is a 4-channel quad deck DJ controller with a built-in mixer and dual USB ports. It features jog wheel illumination and a built-in phono preamp, making it suitable for vinyl integration. The unit comes with a PRO X flight case for transport and protection. Made in Japan, it offers USB interface connectivity for Serato DJ software control. Priced at $850, it's a solid mid-range option for mobile and club DJs seeking a rugged all-in-one solution.
Our take
The MC7000 feels like a tank, especially with the flight case included. Setup was straightforward with Serato, and the dual USB ports are a godsend for seamless DJ handovers. I appreciate the built-in phono preamp—it let me connect turntables without extra gear. The jog wheels are responsive and the illumination helps in dark clubs. However, the flight case adds bulk, and the controller is heavy for transport. The sound quality is clean, but I wish there were more dedicated effects controls. Overall, if you need a reliable 4-channel controller for gigs, this is a strong contender.
