About this product
The Denon DJ PRIME GO is a portable double-deck DJ controller and mixer with a maximum sampling rate of 24-bit at 48 kHz. It allows standalone mixing from USB drives and SD cards without a laptop. The black unit is compact and designed for mobile DJs. It features touchscreen control and built-in effects.
Our take
I've been using the original PRIME GO for a while, and it's a great portable controller. The 24-bit/48kHz audio quality is good enough for most gigs. The touchscreen makes track selection a breeze. It's lightweight and fits in a bag easily. At $675, it's a fantastic deal for a standalone unit. However, compared to the newer PRIME GO+, it lacks Bluetooth and feels a bit outdated. The jog wheels are small and the plastic build is not premium. But for the price, it's hard to beat.
