Our take
The MC3000 is a decent entry-level controller for Serato and Traktor. I like that it's USB-powered, so no need for an extra wall wart. The jog wheels are okay for basic scratching, but they're not as responsive as higher-end models. The lack of performance pads is a downside if you rely on hot cues and loops. Sound quality is acceptable, and the XLR outputs are a nice touch for connecting to PA systems. Build quality feels a bit plasticky, but it's lightweight and portable. For the price, it's a solid starter controller, but you'll outgrow it quickly.
